Hyrox? Count me in as a total noob from Mechelen! Your post sold me – that 400% buzz had me Googling all week. Starting tomorrow with couch-to-5k, but sled pushes? Terrifying. Local hack: Use park benches for step-ups. Autumn motivation: Shorter days mean guilt-free evening sessions. Beers after?
Mandatory. Who's got beginner vids?
Feeling pumped, thanks OP!
What really resonated with me in your post was the mention of mental health and sleep benefits. In our increasingly stressful world, anything that can genuinely improve those aspects is a huge win. I've struggled with winding down at night, and the idea of a workout that leaves you feeling deeply relaxed and sleeping 'like a log' is incredibly appealing. For me, the physical gains are secondary to that sense of calm and improved well-being.
Even if the scientific evidence for some of the physical claims is still developing, the subjective feeling of reduced stress and enhanced sleep quality would be enough for me to consider trying it. That deeper mind-body connection you described sounds like a perfect antidote to daily pressures.
