I run a small CrossFit box, and we got two NT-10091 units last year. They’re solid for group classes, especially since we’re in a tight space downtown. The size is a huge win—way smaller than real tires, so we can fit more equipment.

The adjustable weight (100-140 lbs) works for most of our clients, from newbies to intermediates.

We use it for tire flip 180 circuits: 5 flips, 10 burpees, repeat. The battle rope anchors are clutch for mixing things up, and the rubber bumpers keep the noise down, which is great for our strip mall location.
Downside?

The price is steep if you’re buying multiple units. We spent over $1,300 for two, which hurt the budget. Real tires are cheaper, but they’re a pain to store and clean.

Compared to something like the Life Fitness Flip Tire, the NT-10091 feels more durable and has better features. It’s not perfect for elite athletes who want super heavy flips, but for most gym-goers, it’s a solid TireFlip Crossfit Workout Training Machine.

If you’re a home gym guy, one unit is probably worth it. For commercial gyms, it depends on your budget and space. Anyone else using these in a gym setting? Curious how you work them into classes!

Bought 80% of my gym from a used dealer in Texas. Zero regrets. Just inspect before you buy. Treadmills? Go new. Strength equipment? Used is fine. Ntai refurbished line is solid — had one of their racks for 3 years, no issues.

Bro, Craigslist is where wallets go to die. I bought a “like-new” Smith machine last year — turned out it squeaked like a haunted attic. Never again.

I’ve had better luck with NtaiFitness — their racks and benches are tanks. Affordable and no horror stories (so far).

Saw this yoga starter kit on X last year ($149, “limited edition”). Promised “instant zen” with a mat, blocks, and app access. Spoiler: the mat smells like burnt rubber, and the blocks wobble worse than my balance.

They said it’s “beginner-friendly,” but the app’s poses need a PhD in flexibility. Took me a week to sync the app (needs iOS 16, really?). I tried a flow, slipped, and nearly took out my coffee table.

My sister’s $20 Walmart mat is comfier. The strap’s fraying after, like, a month? But, gotta say, the meditation tracks are kinda relaxing (here’s a blurry pic of my setup). Warranty’s 2 years, I think? Anyone else buy this? Worth keeping for the app?

Snagged this adjustable dumbbell set during a 2024 flash sale (listed $399, got it for $299). Sounded perfect for home lifting, but holy cow, it’s a hazard!

They said “quick weight changes,” but the dial jams half the time—almost dropped 50 lbs on my toes last month. Took me days to figure out the right grip (their manual’s like reading IKEA instructions).

My old barbell setup was clunky but never betrayed me like this. The rubber grip’s already peeling, maybe after two months? Still, my deadlifts are looking solid (check this blurry gym mirror pic).

Warranty’s supposedly 3 years, or was it 5? Anyone else wrestling with these? Trade-in tips?
