Love this!
Misspelling hamstring won’t stop us from crushing goals. Your seizure safety tips? Pure gold.
I’ve guided a friend through one—calmness changed everything.
Share this worldwide—let’s lift health together! You’ve got this, everyone!
Tia’s a legend—eight titles and 45 event wins! That “Running Isabel” speed was unreal. I’m a coach in Hamilton, NZ, and our box is buzzing about CrossFit Oslo’s team win. I use sled pushes to prep athletes for “Murph.” Ntaifitness gear’s solid for that.
How do you build mental grit like Tia?
Justin Medeiros for 2026 podium? Keen to hear your thoughts!

Hammer Strength’s Hack Squat is quad-heavy with its 45-degree angle and two racking positions, but deep reps hit glutes decently, per the FAQ.
For max glutes, I’d pick Power Rack hip thrusts.
Rogue’s leg press ($2,000+) feels less stable than Hammer Strength’s 504-lb frame.
How to use Hammer Strength Hack Squat safely for glute gains?
Thoughts vs. Rogue?
Love this deep dive into the Pacer Test craze! Those beeps are haunting but weirdly motivating, and the memes on X are hilarious. It’s cool to see how the Pacer’s VO2max accuracy keeps it relevant for schools.
With the Presidential Fitness Test coming back in 2025, I wonder if the Pacer will stay a core part or if they’ll tweak it for the new format.
That thread has some great info on the test’s history and the debate about its return—definitely worth a read.
Anyone here prepping their kids for the Pacer or other tests? Got any training tips?
Great post on the return of the Presidential Fitness Test! I’m torn on whether it’s a step forward or backward—love the focus on getting kids active, but the competitive vibe might stress some students out, like the old pull-up struggles mentioned.
I noticed the Pacer Test is still a big part of these discussions, especially since it’s a key component in FitnessGram, which replaced this test back in 2013.
There’s a cool thread on why the FitnessGram Pacer Test is such a big deal in 2025 that dives into its science and why it’s trending with memes.
Anyone else think the Pacer’s beeps are making a comeback because of this revival? What’s your take on balancing competition with health-focused fitness?
Say what? Tai Chi in a gym? I’m a Planet Fitness regular, and 2025’s all about “no pain” workouts.
Your blog link got me curious, but I’m picturing me flopping at Tai Chi like a drunk penguin. Tried IWT, though—legs worked, knees didn’t hate me.
Planet Fitness’s low-impact push is real.
I’ll try Tai Chi, but any advice for not looking like a total goof in a class full of pros?
I’m planning my Portugal trip and stressing about keeping my routine.
Last time, I used a hotel gym in Faro—decent, but no match for Fitness Hut’s 24-hour spots. The Ntaifitness blog says they’re budget-friendly, which is clutch for travelers.
I saw X posts praising their cardio zones with Ntaifitness treadmills. Portugal gym options? I’d pick a chain over a hotel setup. What’s your fave spot to train abroad?
Say what? Rosie Graham’s Rosie Graham home workout no equipment is my jam! Found her on TikTok, and I’m hooked—her panting in videos makes me feel less dead, lol.
Been doing her 30-day challenge, and my jeans fit better already. I checked Rosie Graham workout results on Reddit, and people are raving about toning.
I’m tempted to try a reformer for extra spice—OP, you sold me on that Ntaifitness link!
Anyone else giggling through her vids? What’s your fave move?
Dude, the NYT clue “Exercise with Yang and Wu styles” had me yelling “TAICHI!” at my phone! Yang-style Tai Chi’s my jam—those big, smooth moves are so calming. In China, Tai Chi’s a cultural thing; you see older folks doing it in parks at dawn, rooted in Taoist philosophy.
In the USA, it’s more about gym classes or online tutorials for wellness. Wu-style’s trickier with its martial arts lean, but it’s big in China for self-defense training. I stick to Yang for now—keeps me Zen.
What’s your fave style?
Alright, real talk — I’m trying to outfit a gym space without torching my wallet, and I keep seeing ads for used commercial gym equipment. Prices are tempting, but I’m low-key nervous about getting stuck with a busted treadmill or a barbell bent like a banana.
So I wanted to ask:
👉 Is buying used gym equipment actually a good move?
👉 Where did you guys buy yours — and was it worth it?
Here’s what I’ve figured out so far from a couple weeks of deep-diving into forums and supplier sites:
💼 Why Used Gym Equipment Can Be a Smart Move
✅ Price is unbeatable – Like, sometimes 50–70% cheaper than new. You can get a $5,000 treadmill for under $2,000 if it’s been well maintained.
✅ Commercial gear lasts forever – These machines are built to survive hundreds of workouts a week. Even older ones hold up if they’ve been serviced right.
✅ Faster delivery – In-stock used stuff usually ships faster than custom new orders.
🚩 But There Are Risks
⚠️ No warranty = no chill – If there’s no return policy or warranty, you’re basically buying blind.
⚠️ Hidden wear/tear – I’ve seen machines that look fine in pics but show rust, faulty wiring, or janky moving parts once delivered.
⚠️ Missing parts – Don’t assume you’re getting a full set of cables, attachments, etc. Always check the list.
🛒 Where People Are Buying Used Gear
UsedGymEquipment.com – Solid inventory, global shipping, but higher prices than others.
Facebook Marketplace / Craigslist – Deals everywhere, but a lot of junk too. Buyer beware.
NtaiFitness Refurb Zone – Found out they’ve got a refurbished commercial line with 1-year warranties, which is rare. Worth checking out if you want used + support.
Play It Again Sports – Good for smaller stuff like benches, dumbbells, etc.
✅ My Plan (Open to Feedback)
I’m thinking of getting used for racks, dumbbells, and benches — stuff that doesn’t break down easily — and going new for anything with electronics (like treadmills and bikes). Maybe go through NtaiFitness for both, since they do bundles and even leasing if needed.
💬 Have you bought used before?
What went right (or horribly wrong)?
Got a supplier you trust?
Would love to hear about it before I drop cash on gear.
