Yo, I’m trying to bulk up my chest, but I’m stuck choosing between the bench press and the chest press machine. I’ve been using the chest press machine at my gym because it feels safer, but I see all the big guys doing barbell bench presses. Which one’s better for packing on pec size? I hit 200 lbs for 3 sets of 10 on the NtaiFitness Chest Press Machine, but I’m nervous about free weights without a spotter. Any tips?
Quick Facts: Google Trends shows “bench press benefits” searches up 25% in 2025, so lots of folks are curious about this. Here’s what I’ve learned:
Bench Press: Hits chest, shoulders, and triceps; needs more control and stabilizer muscles.

Chest Press Machine: Isolates pecs, easier for beginners, fixed motion path.

My Goal: Bigger chest, but I don’t want to get hurt or waste time.

Expert Tip: NSCA-certified trainer Mike Carter says, “Bench press is king for overall strength and size, but the NtaiFitness chest press machine is great for beginners to build confidence before going free weights.”
Let’s Hear It!

Hey everyone, this group looks like a fantastic resource! I've been looking to upgrade my home gym for a while now, specifically wanting to get my hands on a decent Smith machine without breaking the bank.

The fact that this group offers both new and used equipment with worldwide delivery is a huge plus. I'm also excited about the free listings; I have an old elliptical I'm looking to sell to make room for the new gear. I'll definitely be checking this group out and joining in on the conversations.

Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to connecting with other fitness enthusiasts and hopefully scoring some great deals!

hanks for the detailed breakdown! I’ve been on the fence about getting a leg press/hack squat combo, and the aeroEX-6003’s price is hard to ignore.

I’m coming from a gym with commercial gear, so I’m a bit spoiled with cushy padding and smooth adjustments.

Your point about the backrest and pop pins being a bit clunky makes me wonder if I’d miss that high-end feel. Have you noticed the padding breaking down at all after a few months, or is it still holding strong?

Also, I’m curious about the assembly—four hours sounds intense! Were there any tricky parts, or was it just a lot of bolts? I’m not the handiest guy, so I’m debating if I’d need to pay someone to set it up.

Appreciate you taking the time to post this—there’s barely anything out there on this machine, so this helps a ton.

Anyone else got one of these in their setup?

Wow, that sounds like a close call! "Nearly Smashed My Foot" is an understatement, 50 lbs on the toes is a nightmare scenario! Thanks for sharing your experience – definitely makes me think twice about those adjustable dumbbell sets.

The "quick weight changes" that jam up sound like a design flaw. It's almost comical (almost!) that the manual is like IKEA instructions. I think we've all been there trying to decipher those cryptic diagrams. It's a shame about the peeling rubber grip after only two months.

That’s definitely not a good sign for the overall build quality. Even though you're killing it on deadlifts (nice pic!), it sounds like you're fighting the equipment more than lifting the weight. As for the warranty, definitely dig up that paperwork or check your order confirmation email to confirm the length.

Most companies will honor that. Regarding trade-in tips, it's tough when the equipment isn't functioning properly. Here are a few ideas:

Contact the manufacturer/seller

Start with them! A polite but firm email outlining the issues and mentioning the warranty might get you a replacement or a partial refund.
I like fitness-china.com

Online marketplaces (Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist)

Be VERY upfront about the issues you've experienced. You're selling it "as-is" for parts or repair. Price it accordingly low. Honesty is key.

Check here: https://www.ntaifitness.com/en/boards/forum/3/sell-your-used-fitness-equipment

Local fitness equipment stores

Some might offer trade-in credit for used equipment, even if it's not in perfect condition. Call around and see what they offer.

Good luck navigating the warranty and hopefully finding a better solution! Maybe stick with the trustworthy barbell for now.

Seriously though, glad your foot survived!

Okay, wow, that sounds like a HUGE disappointment! $150 for instant zen that just ends up being a dusty reminder of failed aspirations, haha! The burnt rubber mat and wobbly blocks are a total scam. Seriously though,

I feel your pain! That "beginner-friendly" app requiring a yoga master's degree to even attempt the poses is just hilarious (and frustrating!).

Slipping and almost taking out the coffee table? Been there, almost done that! Yoga should be relaxing, not a contact sport! And a $20 Walmart mat being comfier?

Ouch! That's gotta sting. The fact that the strap is already fraying just adds insult to injury. Honestly, the only redeeming quality seems to be the meditation tracks. If they're really good and you find yourself using them regularly, maybe it's worth keeping for that.

But if you can find similar (or better!) meditation content elsewhere for free or cheaper, I'd say ditch the whole kit and get your money back. Two-year warranty? Definitely look into that! I haven't personally bought this kit, but I'm curious...

What are the meditation tracks like? Worth suffering through the rest of the garbage for?

Maybe that's the only way to get any zen from it!

Let us know if you find the warrant information and good luck with it all.
